Day Eleven - The Last Day

Sadly, our last day and determined to make the most of it, we grabbed our last couple of hours sunbathing before packing, showering and vacating our rooms.

Day Ten - The Final Night

Our match today was cancelled due to thunder, lightning and torrential rain.

We woke to rain but were still excited at the thought of exploring the island on our jeep safari and as the skies cleared we enjoyed whizzing through the tropical countryside and seeing bananas, pomegranates, papayas, cashew nuts, breadfruit, mangoes and cocoa growing in the trees, with the wind in our hair.

Day Eight - Aquatic Obstacles

Our second netball and early morning start, unfortunately, it didn't mean it was any cooler and in the blistering heat our girls B&C teams played out much closer matches and our U14 s were dominant winning 16-8.

Day Seven - First Netball Match

Today we started our netball matches and discovered that our Caribbean friends take their netball very seriously.

Day Six - Bye Barbados

Day Five - Out At Sea

Day Four - We Take Victory

Another lovely beach morning, after lunch we headed off to our second lot of hockey v Combermere . We felt more into our stride and our U13 girls really blazed a trail scoring 9 goals in our first game winning 9-0

Day Three - Match Day

A restful morning on the beach then at 12.00 midday we began our preparations for match one. The heat was fierce and as we left the comfort of our air conditioned bus we realised the challenge would not only be our opponents hockey skills.
