Day Three - Match Day

A restful morning on the beach then at 12.00 midday we began our preparations for match one.  The heat was fierce and as we left the comfort of our air conditioned bus we realised the challenge would not only be our opponents hockey skills.

Short periods of play interspersed with water breaks meant we just about coped.  Our U13 girls did their very best but were beaten 3-0 by a strong mixed age Yellow Birds team (we even noticed that one of their players was a boy, but we were of course, too polite to mention it).  U16 played Empire and despite going behind in the first half they dug out a convincing win in the second, final score 4-2 to THS

Tonight was fantastic fun! A trip to Harbour Lights for mocktails, bbq, dancing, fire eaters, stilt walkers, limbo dancing and a little twerking saw us all have a really good night.  Happy birthday to Maddy who even got to celebrate with the stage show monkey.

Sam, Sophie and Sarah finished our evening of entertainment with a rendition of Cabaret much to the dismay of the teachers in the room below.
